SUBSCRIPTION TO THE MOTOR INDUSTRY CODE OF PRACTICE FOR SERVICE AND REPAIR

We have recently subscribed to the Motor Industry Code Of Practice for Garage Service and Repair. This has been developed by Industry people and meets the requirements of Government, Office of Fair Trading and consumer bodies. “The Code” defines the promises made by Garages like ourselves, in the provision of service and repair work to consumers. The code sets out standards that subscribers will comply with regarding; advertising, the booking in process, carrying out the actual work, biling, staff, complaints handling, dispute resolution and disciplinary action.
